Welcome! I’m Amber!
I come from strong Canadian roots where food was always at the heart of family life. Some of my earliest memories are barefoot in the garden, rummaging for fresh beans or peas, and watching my mom prepare her holiday cooking spreads. She taught me how to can pickles, make jams, and celebrate every season with something delicious on the table.
By the time I was seven, I was already baking on a woodstove, learning the patience and joy that comes with feeding others. Many years later, I’m still in the kitchen — now with two young adult kids and a man with a big appetite keeping me busy. This blog is where I share the recipes inspired by my roots and reimagined for today, blending comfort, creativity, and a love of good food.
