  • 1 bowl
  • 1 peeler
  • 1 knife
  • 1 measuring cup

Ingredients
  

Carrot Apple Salad

  • 4 med carrots Room temperature carrots are easier to cut up.
  • 1 small apple Any crisp apple variety works
  • 1/4 cup golden raisins You can use any raisins or leave out entirely
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Dressing

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup rice vinegar you can use white vinegar if you don't have rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp white sugar add more if you like a sweeter dressing

Instructions
 

  • Start by washing and peeling the carrots and apple.
  • Grate carrots up into bowl.
  • Dice cored apple into bite sized pieces.
  • Add raisins if using
  • Mixed the mayonnaise with vinegar and sugar.
  • Mix the dressing into the vegetable/fruit and sprinkle the pepper over it.
  • Let chill for an hour at least before serving
