How To Make Air Fryer Sausage Bites With Honey Mustard

These easy air fryer sausage bites cook up golden brown in just 20 minutes and pair perfectly with a quick honey Dijon dip. They’re an easy appetizer, game day finger food, or a simple way to add protein to dinner.

Equipment

  • Ninja Foodi Air Fryer Or other air fryer or oven
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Tongs For removing hot sausage bites from air fryer basket
  • Tablespoon
  • Small Bowl

Materials

  • 8 Hot Italian Sausage Cut in 1" Pieces
  • 4 Tbsp Dijon
  • 3 Tbsp Honey

Instructions

  • Cut the hot sausage on the cutting board using a sharp knife.

  • Place raw sausage pieces in the bottom of either air fryer basket.
  • Set air fryer to 400F and air fry for 20 minutes stopping halfway through to shake basket.
  • Use a meat themometer when 20 minutes is done to make sure sausage has cooked to 165℉ internally.
  • While sausage cooks mix the Dijon and the honey in a small bowl and set aside for serving.
    4 Tbsp Dijon, 3 Tbsp Honey

Notes

  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3–4 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 5–6 minutes.
  • Other Methods: You can also bake sausage bites on a sheet pan at 400°F for 20–22 minutes, or cook them in a skillet over medium heat until browned on all sides.
