This homemade orange creamsicle style Ninja Creami ice cream is tangy and simple to make with just a few ingredients. Serve in scooped out oranges with little spoons for a fun summer treat for the kids.
In a small bowl soften the cream cheese in a microwave for 10 seconds.
¼ Cup Cream Cheese
Add the Kool-Aid drink mix powder and blend adding a little cream to make it easier to work.
¾ Cup Orange Koolaid Drink Crystals
Continue to add the 18% cream until the Kool-Aid drink crystals are dissolved.
1 Cup 18% Cream
Add the 2% milk to the ice cream base.
1 Cup 2% Milk
Whisk well and then pour into the Ninja Creami pint container and cover before freezing. Use immersion blender only if needed to remove any large lumps of cheese.
Freeze mixture for full 24hrs.
Remove pint from freezer and scrap down any lump or bump on surface so its level.
Process as per manufacturers instructions.
This ice cream is soft enough to scoop right away but gets even creamier when mixed.
