Foolproof Spicy Harissa Sauce With Tomato Paste

This simple spicy harissa sauce with tomato paste is made with just five ingredients. The whole sauce can be made in just 20 minutes and it is really versatile. Use it on grilled meats or even pasta! The North African spice blend makes the tomato based sauce a terrific sauce for exploring bold new flavors.

2 Tbsp Olive Oil 1 Tbsp Harissa Spice ½ Cup Tomato Paste 1 Cup Chicken Stock 1 Tbsp Honey
Heat the saucepan on medium heat and add olive oil.

Measure and add the harissa spice once the olive oil is hot. Heat the spices stirring for one minute.
1 Tbsp Harissa Spice
Measure and add both the tomato paste and the chicken broth.
½ Cup Tomato Paste, 1 Cup Chicken Stock
Stir together with a whisk and allow to come to a boil.
Once heated to boil remove from heat and stir in the honey.
1 Tbsp Honey
Serve while hot over grilled meats or use as part of a cream based pasta sauce.
