Easy Wowbutter Buckeye Recipe With Callebaut Milk Chocolate

This simple recipe for no bake Wowbutter Buckeyes dipped in Callebaut milk chocolate couldn't be easier. Decorated with sliced almonds and a dot of melted chocolate and they make the perfect Christmas food gift. Everyone loves the tasty treats and they are so much fun to make.

  • Small Mixing Bowl
  • measuring cup
  • Microwave Safe Bowl
  • Fork
  • Toothpick Or other pointed instrument
  • spoon
  • Wax Paper
  • Plate

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Wowbutter Smooth or Crunchy
  • 2 Cups Confectioners Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ Cup Butter Softened
  • 2 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips
  • Sliced Almonds Optional

Instructions
 

  • In a small mixing bowl measure the Wowbutter, vanilla extract and confectioners sugar. Use fork to blend as much as possible.
    1 Cup Wowbutter, 2 Cups Confectioners Sugar, 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • To that add ¼cup softened butter. And continue to blend the ingredients with fork until the mixture comes together.
    ¼ Cup Butter
  • Using a spoon scoop a small amount and roll to make 1" balls.
  • Line a plate with waxed paper and put balls on the plate.
  • Chill the balls covered with plastic wrap for one hour.
  • In a microwave safe bowl add two cups milk chocolate chips and microwave for two minutes.
    2 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips
  • Remove the balls from the fridge and uncover.
  • Stop microwave at one minute mark and stir with spoon. Return to finish the melt.
  • Remove hot bowl from microwave carefully and stir the remaining chips into the melted chocolate to finish the melt.
  • Stick a sharp tool like a toothpick into each ball and coat ¾ of each one at a time returning to plate to set.
  • Take sliced almonds and dip large end in melted chocolate and arrange on top of the Buckeyes covering the hole.
    Sliced Almonds
  • Using the point of the toothpick dip in melted chocolate and add a dot to the sliced almonds.
  • Cover plate again with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to one week.
