These cherry chocolate chip oatmeal muffins are so moist and spongy! The dark chocolate chips is a classic pairing for the frozen cherries making them truly delicious. Enjoy as a school lunch idea or work coffee break snack!

  • 1 measuring cup
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 Muffin Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ¾ Cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • ½ Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ Cup Oil
  • 1 Cup Cherries halved or quartered
  • 1 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips

How To Make Chocolate Cherry Oatmeal Muffins

  • Mix the oil and sugar together well.
    ½ Cup Brown Sugar, ¼ Cup Oil
  • Next add the egg and blend well.
    1 Egg
  • Add the dry ingredients to another bowl and blend well.
    1 Cup Flour, 2 tsp Baking Powder, ½ tsp Salt, 1 tsp Cinnamon, ¾ Cup Rolled Oats
  • Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
  • Add milk in as you mix the dry into the wet mixture.
    1 Cup Milk
  • Blend everything really well.
  • Add in the dark chocolate chips and cherries. Mix until well distributed but not so much as to dye your batter completely.
    1 Cup Cherries, 1 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
  • Bake in 400℉ oven for 20-25 mins. or until golden brown.
